Public library of segamat is a small library located at Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Johor,Cawangan Segamat,Lot 8384, Jalan Genuang,85000 Segamat, Johor. The purposes of establishment this public library is to facilitate the community enjoy reading though far from city center. It was a small branch and a center that will provide services and meet the needs of local community. Public library of Segamat was established in November 1990. They are under Minister of Information, Communication and Culture. Public library of Segamat is one of 13 branches of public library in Johor which is maintained by Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia. Their building is designed by Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia. There are two floors in this building and the first floors used as a place to study while the second floors contains reference materials where it still under construction.
Facilities that provided by this library is TV rooms, kids section, multimedia rooms, activities room, computers room and musolla rooms. Public library of Segamat gets their books from the center branch which is from Johor. There are two staff that handled in public library of Segamat while 14 other staff in every region.
